This privacy policy describes how peptide-intel ("we", "us", "this site") handles information when you visit. Plain language, no legalese: we collect very little, and what we do collect is anonymous.
Who we are
peptide-intel is an informational website about research peptides. We compare vendor pricing, track transparency signals, and publish editorial articles based on published research. We do not sell peptides, do not process payments, and do not provide medical advice.
What we collect
When you visit pages on this site, we record anonymous, aggregated information about that visit:
- Page views — which pages are visited and roughly how many people visit them. We use Vercel Analytics for this. No cookies are set, and no individual user is identified.
- Outbound click events — when you click a vendor link, we log which vendor and (when applicable) which peptide the click is for. We do not log who you are, your IP address, or anything that could identify you.
- Custom page events — which peptide pages and comparison pages are viewed, captured anonymously the same way page views are.
That is the entire scope of what we collect.
What we do not collect
To be specific about what we don't do:
- We do not require accounts. There is no login, no profile, no user history.
- We do not store IP addresses, user agents, browser fingerprints, or any device identifiers.
- We do not set cookies for our own purposes.
- We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site tracking tools.
- We do not sell, share, or trade your information — because we don't have any.
Where data goes
Anonymous click data is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase. Anonymous page views and custom events are stored by Vercel Analytics. We use both services to understand which content is useful and to improve the site over time.
When you click an outbound link to a vendor, you leave our site and visit theirs. We have no control over what the vendor's website collects from you once you arrive. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any vendor before making a purchase.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal information, there is nothing about you specifically to access, correct, or delete. If you would prefer not to be counted in our anonymous analytics, you can block analytics scripts in your browser or use a privacy-focused browser like Brave or Firefox with Enhanced Tracking Protection.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top.
